BOSCH: Measuring Product Demand Through Retail Partners
A partner-commerce measurement framework that tracked the path from campaign visit to retailer referral when checkout happened off-site.
Evidence status: Modeled scenario; figures are approximate and not audited client results.
Problem
The manufacturer site influenced product selection while the transaction happened with a retail partner, leaving standard ecommerce reporting incomplete.
Solution
- Separated campaigns by product category and individual model.
- Used search for existing demand, comparison content for evaluation and paid social for discovery.
- Built clear product-page routes to partners with current model availability.
- Defined the outbound retailer click as a measurable intermediate conversion.
Results
- 150,000 modeled product-page visits
- 11.3% modeled page-to-retailer conversion
- KZT 765 modeled cost per retailer referral
Key insight
Retailer referrals are a useful intermediate KPI, while sales and ROAS still require partner sell-out data.
